As the trip got closer, he confirmed the details and was waiting for me as planned, even though my flight was late. We finished our tour early and he even booked a last minute massage for me instead of dropping me off early. I highly recommend Tulus.

Tulus was a great guide, friendly, reliable, knowledgeable, with good level of English and very responsive via email and whatsapp. We arranged with him three final leg of our trip – 4 full days packed with activities – airport pick up, Borobudur sunrise and visit temple, Dieng plateau area and visit area ( color lake view, temple complex), Sikunir hill sunrise view, Prambanan temple and Ratu Boko for sunset view, Jomblang Cave and merapi tour, sightseeing Yogyakarta and drop off at airport. All in all highly recommendable, reasonably priced and very friendly and reliable.

Firstly, Pak Tulus was easily contactable via WhatsApp and was able to confirm he was available for the dates we are heading to Jogja right away. He was also helpful in providing ideas to customise our itinerary with reasonable price quoted.

Next was our arrival in Jogja where we were promptly picked up by Pak Tulus – he is knowledgeable on places to go, has good recommendations, always punctual, flexible to accommodate our requests all the time and most importantly a very friendly and cheerful guide which made our experience even more memorable.

We enjoyed the sunrise at Borobudur, sunset at Prambanan and also the enjoyable Indonesian ballet (Ramayana Ballet Prambanan) where Pak Tulus helped to book excellent seats for us.

Tulus was an amazing tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about history, Hinduism, and Buddhism and he spoke excellent English. He also took very good care of us for the two days that we were in town, whether taking us to the best currency exchange or the airport in a rush. I highly recommend that you use him for your trip to Yogyakarta!

I sent Tulus an email after finding him on Tripadvisor. He got back to me via WhatsApp and we quickly planned out my day trip to Goa Jomblang. He also suggested a cave tubing activity at Goa Pindul, and clearly outlined the price of the private car ($35) and admission fees. He picked up me up promptly at 7am at my hotel, and we had a full day in which I felt well taken care. On the way home, he suggested a massage. All in all it was a great day!

Our trip of 5 days 4 nights was enjoyable and exciting , our itinerary was prepared by a highly recommended driver Pak TulusBambang Nugroho. From the pick up at the airport and departure he ensured our safety and was hospitable. His fluent English and good knowledge made our trip Sunrise at Borobudur and several temples a historical experience. Me and my group of friends visited jogja in May for five days. Prior to our trip, as the organizer of the trip, I changed almost all the itinerary that Tulus planned for us and switched to different places that we intend to go. Tulus, our tour guide was very patient and accommodating every request that I have mentioned to ensure we get to go every places that we wanted to go. He took the challenge and reorganize a trip that included every places I requested. A trip with 8 members was not easy, Tulus made it comfortable and relax during those 5 days. We went to a lot of places and I recommend timing beach, Borobudur and prambanan to all of you. Lastly, please do not visit during Ramadan period, it’s so hard to get food. Other than that, it’s a great place to getaway and make sure you book your trip with Tulus
